Gladstone School District’s next community forum about needed school maintenance, safety upgrades and roof replacement through a facilities bond will be held at 6 p.m. on June 18 at GHS. Last night the Gladstone School Board unanimously approved a resolution to place the bond measure on the November ballot, proposing a lower tax rate than currently in place. With the deadline to submit ballot language in August, we will have lots of information to present, with time to learn new things and have discussions. Those in attendance at the June 18 event can expect to find informational fliers and table conversations facilitated by district staff and board members.
