The longtime former president, referee coordinator and director of coaching for the Gladstone Soccer Association is the new head girls soccer coach at Gladstone High School. Scott Busic has worked with students through the Gladstone Soccer Association since 2012.
Busic grew up in Gladstone, attending Gladstone School District for all 12 years. He said that he loves his community, and growing soccer in Gladstone has been his longtime passion.
“Along with coaching numerous teams and helping youth soccer grow, one of my proudest achievements has been coordinating and supporting over 100 Gladstone students to become referees. It’s an absolute pleasure to continue my soccer journey with Gladstone High School,” Busic said.
With more than 20 years of coaching experience, Busic also joined the coaching staff of the North Clackamas Soccer Club. His credentials include completing U.S. Soccer Coaching Education Department courses in coaching 11-versus-11 and 9-versus-9-player soccer.
Busic has worked over 25 years in the medical billing field, currently as a supervisor specializing in patient account management. Busic lives nearby in Milwaukie and is a father of four young adults.
