Gladstone Community Center has provided a new, convenient location for drop-off, if you’d like to donate nonperishable food to the Gladstone School Food Pantry’s new location at Kraxberger Middle School.
Donations are accepted from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday dropped off at 1050 Portland Ave., Gladstone. If you have a large amount of donations or items that are cold or frozen, please contact food pantry manager Alex Van Pelt 503-737-5283 to arrange a special drop off.
Our food pantry is generally open year-round from 3-5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays at 17777 Webster Road. Thanksgiving week we will distribute on Tuesday, Nov. 25, instead of Wednesday. Same hours: 3-5:30 p.m. We will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 2.
During the school year, school district families have priority shopping to shop first at 3 p.m. and must be able to show proof of enrollment every time they shop during these early-bird shopping times.
The pantry serves families with students in the Gladstone School District. We also serve other residents of Gladstone and surrounding areas.
