Our free Summer Meals program has been extra popular this year. We partner with Clackamas Bookshelf to provide free books for kids at each of the four sites throughout Gladstone as well. At the splash pad, the city of Gladstone has set up an exciting slate of fun children's activities.
Gladstone School District's summer food service runs through Aug. 22.
The schedule is:
10:30-10:50 a.m. Kraxberger Middle School
11-11:30 a.m. Gladstone Center for Children & Families
11:40 a.m.-12:10 p.m. John Wetten Elementary's front parking area
12:15-12:45 p.m. Max Patterson Park next to the aquatic area
You can find these sites, as well as any site in Oregon, by dialing 211, or by visiting fns.usda.gov/summer/sitefinder. The summer food service program is open to anyone 18 and under. You do not have to be a student of the district. All meals are free.
Are you helping coordinate a summer camp in Gladstone? Email us and we can arrange to bring the campers free meals.
