On March 7, Gladstone Cub Scout Pack 510 and Milwaukie Troops 376 & 5376 participated in a community service event called “Scouting for Food.” Scouts went door-to-door in the communities they serve collecting nonperishable food items for their neighborhood food banks.
Thanks to our local Scouts, 908 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Gladstone Food Pantry located at Kraxberger Middle School. Many Scouts who participated in this event attend Kraxberger, John Wetten Elementary or Gladstone High School.
