Community Schools Program
The Community School program contributes to the Gladstone School District by providing educational opportunities to all community members, both youths and adults. The program strives to assess community needs, and then to assist community members in meeting those needs to improve the quality of life in Gladstone

Extended Day Child Care Program
We are excited to open registration for Extended Day for the 2023-24 school year. Due to continued staffing issues we unfortunately will only be able to accept 30 students for the start of the year. We have several positions posted and advertised and as we are able to hire more staff we will accept more students into the program.
One big change is we will be moving the Kindergarten program back over to John Wetten Elementary School. Due to low enrollment for Extended Day at the Center we can no longer sustain it as a stand alone program. Kindergarten students will be bussed over to GCCF in the morning just as they always have been and they will be bussed back to JWE in the afternoon.
Due to a limited number of spots being available to start the year we will be opening 5 slots per grade level (K-5). Students will be accepted into the program by a lottery process. Our sincere hope is that more staff will be hired very soon and we will be able to open up more slots to our families. We will create a wait list for each grade level and accept new students on a rotating basis.

DRIVER EDUCATION INFORMATION:
At this time, Gladstone Community School is NOT offering Driver Education.
For options, please contact ODEC, ODTI, First Learn to Drive, Oregon City or Canby for any future classes. They may be able to help you.
If you, or anyone you know is interested in teaching both Classroom and Behind the Wheel, we are looking to hire a new Instructor. Please contact Jennifer Ingram if you are interested.
