To celebrate the start of the school year, the Gladstone School District honored a total of six staff members who won Thank a Teacher or Making a Difference awards at our staff's Welcome Back event on Aug. 26. To recognize their outstanding contributions to our community, each of these staff members received $250 from a Gladstone Education Foundation endowment.
Beth Taylor is the kind of teacher who makes a lasting difference in the lives of her students at John Wetten Elementary. Her caring heart, joyful spirit, and consistently positive attitude create a classroom environment where every child feels seen, valued and capable of success.
Whether she’s greeting students with a warm smile, collaborating with her colleagues or cheering on her students at events outside the classroom, she radiates kindness, commitment and genuine joy. In winning a Thank a Teacher Award this year, Beth Taylor reminds us all what it means to lead with heart.
