Kraxberger Middle School

To celebrate the start of the school year, the Gladstone School District honored a total of six staff members who won Thank a Teacher or Making a Difference awards at our staff's Welcome Back event on Aug. 26. To recognize their outstanding contributions to our community, each of these staff members received $250 from a Gladstone Education Foundation endowment.
Audrey Delgado is a fixture at Kraxberger Middle School, providing students with creative outlets and opportunities to explore new passions by consistently seeking new and creative ways to expand the horizons of our students. She brings light and life to the hallways at Kraxberger. Annually her students produce work that far exceeds what is typical in a middle school environment. Last year she introduced her students to authentic expressions of art, working with a family of weavers to produce a mini residence experience relevant to art and culture.
