Seventh-grade students in Kraxberger Middle School's Community Leadership class traveled to John Wetten Elementary on April 22 to meet with fifth-grade students. Kraxberger students presented student-developed key ideas about the middle-level experience and answered questions from fifth-grade students. Each of Kraxberger's student leaders worked with seven or eight JWE students.
We're loving the opportunities to build positive, prosocial face-to-face relationships between our soon-to-be eighth graders and our incoming sixth graders prior to starting the year. Before the end of this school year, fifth graders will ride the bus to Kraxberger to tour the school with their future eighth-grade allies. Go Bulldogs!
