On March 3, Gladstone band students combined with the choir to perform the Nearly Spring concert.
On March 10, Gladstone High School's Symphonic Band competed at the Clackamas Community College NW Invitational Band Contest where we won first place in the small schools division and received state-qualifying scores from all three judges.
On March 13, our Jazz Band competed at the CCC Jazz Festival where we received one state qualifying score and played quite well.
On March 14, 13 soloists and small ensembles from Symphonic Band competed against other regional schools. This music was chosen, rehearsed and performed entirely by the students. Every soloist and ensemble received either an "excellent" or "superior" rating and the following ensembles/students qualified for and will compete at the state solo/ensemble championships on May 1-2.
On March 16, 17 Kraxberger Middle School students rehearsed and performed as a part of the Regional Honor Band. Students learned a lot and put on a great performance.
Finally, on March 17, the Kraxberger Band and Choir Programs (over 150 students strong) put on a great show in the Kraxberger main gym for a packed house!
