John Wetten Elementary students are forming their Oregon Battle of the Books teams for both fourth and fifth graders.
The students are coming up with their team names, taking notes about books that they've read and drilling each other on reading comprehension in hopes of winning the school championship this spring.
A big thank you to Mary Lane for coming back from retirement as a fifth grade JWE teacher to volunteer her service as the advisor for OBOB students.
