Gladstone High is a comprehensive four-year school serving approximately 720 students in grades nine through twelve. The students follow a five-period day with a single lunch. The school year consists of three trimesters with classes running 73 minutes long. Gladstone offers a balanced curriculum with offerings in college preparatory, technical education, second language and fine arts.


Opportunities are available for students to participate in ‘early bird’ and after-school classes to earn credit for Jazz band, choir and work experience. Through Clackamas Community College, juniors and seniors have the opportunity to earn college credit in a variety of classes.

Gladstone High is accredited through Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. The school competes in the 4A Capital Conference with Cascade, Estacada, LaSalle, Molalla, North Marion and Stayton.

During 1986-87 Gladstone High was nationally recognized as a Secondary

School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education. Gladstone High School is honored to also have four Nationally Certified Teachers on their staff.

GHS is a state and nationally recognized school for meeting and exceeding academic standards. Standards are based upon the National Average Yearly Progress (AYP) and the Oregon School Report Card.
