Volunteer Opportunities

A special skill. A love for children. These are just a couple of the reasons parents, seniors, community members, and high school students volunteer in Gladstone Schools. Annually, over 800 volunteers assist with a variety of tasks that benefit staff and students. Following are some of the opportunities available:

Tutoring
Mentoring
Reading with Students
Assisting in Library
Conducting Mock Interviews
Teacher Aides
Speakers in Classrooms
Chaperones for Dances and Parties
Coaching Athletics and Activities
Organizing Fundraisers
Selling Concessions
Parent Clubs and Booster Clubs
Foundation Dinner Auction
Chaperoning Field Trips
Assisting with Vision and Health Screening
Assisting with Special Art Projects
Organizing and Assisting with Athletic Events, Camps, Clinics and Tournaments
Serving on Various School Committees

Thousands of dollars are saved each year through the use of volunteers.
