Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

PBIS News

Why do we do PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) at John Wetten Elementary?

PBIS allows for personal recognition for students on a daily basis.  Good behavior is taught and reinforced for following our 3 rules: be SAFE, be RESPECTFUL, and be RESPONSIBLE.  PBIS reduces disruption and increases learning time for our students.

  PBIS Award Assembly

Our PBIS Assembly featured the Leopard Leaders.  These students help to teach the correct behaviors with fun skits and chants. Every Monday we award many students for being Safe, Responsible and Respectful at our school.
